Commentary
This is the Treasure House. It was first built in 1907, and the current building was completed in 1972. It stores around 20,000 articles belonging to the temple and ancient manuscripts, many of which are national treasures and important cultural properties associated with Zentsu-ji; some of these articles are also on public display. The Treasure House is open all year round, and it holds special public exhibitions of national treasures for a limited time during the year.
