Commentary
This is the Tea Whisk Burial Mound. It was built in 1968 in memory of used tea whisks and to thank them for their work. It is said that the spirit of tea ceremony leads to the mercy of Buddha. In the middle of October, a memorial service for used tea whisks takes place every year by putting them in a bonfire and reciting a sutra in front of the mound.
