Commentary
This is the ruins of the Hariti Hall where a statue of the Hariti is enshrined. It is said that the hall was located in this place until Azuchi-Momoyama period (late 16th century). The hall became difficult to maintain due to the wars and was relocated to the precinct of Konzou-ji Temple. The family of the priest there became secularized (to leave holy orders) and has currently remained in Konzouji-cho Rokujo.
